Driver wasn't there to pick us up on our return leg of our journey and after eventually getting through to sort the issue, had to wait well over an hour to get on our way (the last thing we wanted after a long journey). Haven't had an apology yet, the staff I dealt with were very short with me, and I will be looking for some kind of compensation for our journey. Does not come across as a well run business. "

"I asked for a car and got a minivan which wasn’t as comfortable. I chose an E-Class for this reason so was a bit disappointed. My arrival at the terminal exit was late, but the driver was very good, didn’t leave me in the lurch and waited. I appreciated this. However at no point in the journey did he help me with my luggage and was talking on hands free the whole way home. Overall not as polished as I’d hoped, but was p,eased he waited for my delayed arrival."

"Due to the hot weather, we booked an E-Class vehicle for both our outward and inbound journey to ensure the vehicle had climate control/air con. Unfortunately, a different vehicle arrived on both journeys. For our outward journey a 7-8 seater arrived with no aircon or climate control so not a good start. Our return vehicle was also not as expected. This was an Astra Estate which is a lower class of booking vehicle and we were left standing at the collection point as we were looking for a totally difference vehicle. We even called to give a description of what my husband was wearing so easily spotted but the driver had just been sitting in his vehicle with us no more than 10 years away for quite some time! One way you could say is unfortunate but both not. We paid over £100 for this service and it certainly did not deliver on our expectation. Our outward journey driver said that he would share back the error and assured us our return vehicle would be as expected... but no! I wrote to Ali Brothers upon my return and after much chasing, they come back and offered us a 50% refund which we agreed was fair (on condition we did not share any negative comments) however after 3 chaser emails and a call to the company, being assured this had been missed and would arrange to rectify the following day, and a confirmation email. We are still waiting! We have tried to be fair and give the company a chance to put this right and stand over their compensation offer, but as they have not held up their side of the arrangement, I feel I need to share our experience as now totally exhausted & angry by it all and extremely disappointed from this business. I would NEVER use again and certainly NOT recommend. "

"Driver was 15 minutes late (on an airport departure transfer that's not great). It was 30 degrees outside, the vehicle had no air conditioning or regular windows to open. With the fitted plastic safety barrier between passengers and driver there was also no 'through' air from the driver's window. It was an airless tin box with no ventilation apart from a tiny rear window to open for an hours journey which was VERY uncomfortable. Especially with young children. "

"Do not use this company. I wish I had read the other reviews before booking because if I had I would have chosen someone else. It's a shame because everything about my journey _to_ LRH was great. The car was nice and the driver was on time and good at his job - a real pro. Coming home was a different story. The drop-off guy had told me where to wait for pick up - so I went there. No taxi. Called the office and got someone who said he was coming but was clearly not in a car. The guy arrived 1hr and 5mins after the arranged time. Worse, I had landed early so I had to wait 1hr 25mins. I had been asked for my flight number on booking but for no purpose it seems. The pick up driver did not apologise for the ridiculous delay and tried to blame it on traffic. Personally, I use free apps on my phone to tell me when to leave for a given arrival time. This 'professional' driver knew better and just wanted to rely on getting good traffic. However, the real reason he was sooooo late was that he left Luton an hour later than he should have done. Maybe he overslept. An apology would have been nice but instead he decided to insult my intelligence with a lame excuse. When he arrived he parked as far away as possible from the arranged pick up point, despite me having told him 3 times that morning exactly where I was. All the hard work done by the drop-off guy was destroyed by the incompetent, amateurish botch job of the pick up guy."

"I booked an executive transfer for 5 people with 5 suitcases. It was everything but that! At 12.10 pm , we had a call from our driver saying he was late - he was due at 12 pm and was some 30 minutes away. He then asked how many cases we had - we had 4 bags - 1 less than stated on booking but he said he couldn’t fit in. I couldn’t get through on either taxicode number nor Ali Brothers Executive cars. We were considering our options, trying arrange alternative including driving to Luton airport which wouldn’t be great as we were returning to Stansted on homeward bound. When taxi arrived at 12.30 pm it wasn’t his fault! He didn’t seem know how to get to Luton airport and also couldn’t get luggage in boot so had case across three of us in back - this is how all my previous executive taxi have been - not!!! We did make our flight but not the best way to start a holiday stressed at beginning. Thank goodness I haven’t booked you for return! I did send an email requesting refund - at the very least something for not sending what was booked - trade descriptions breached!!!! DO NOT USE amateur outfit, nothing executive about this service!"

"My understanding of 'meet and greet' is to be met inside the terminal at arrivals with a card with my name on. Instead we wandered around the airport for about 15 minutes trying to find out where the driver could be. We had to ask for help, tried texting and ringing the mobile eventually discovering a so-called 'pick up' area some way from the terminal where we did discover the driver. Very stressful."

The taxi driver then had to stop for petrol, now an hour late into what should have been an hour journey to Luton for a flight - we got there with minutes to spare and had to run through departures to make sure we were through before check in shut. We thought we had booked an executive taxi - no water in the back for us and no air conditioning in the car - we were told to open the windows - not great on a motorway! Really not happy with the service and would not recommend nor would book again."

JD instead of JB even though booked on line with the correct Postcode.. They then refused to give us any sort of reasonable replacement. We had to find another taxi, pay again at a premium rate. We missed our lounge booking and very nearly missed our plane. Terrible service, rude dishonest customer service and I will never use them again. I still haven't had a refund and they have charged me an extra £5 for changing the time of a cab that didn't turn up!! "

"Late picking up from home to airport. Booking confirms meet and greet but on arrival received a call from driver stating he was at the airport but call him when luggage collected. Did so within10 mins and told to go to pick up area. Then received text saying give him 10 mins. 20 mins later and 2 phone calls excuses given that delays from long term car park. Clearly there wasn’t - I could see traffic moving freely. Finally arrived. Didn’t get out to open the door - told me “open it” when I said how (I couldn’t see handle on sliding door ) so he reluctantly got out,opened it and got back in. No offer to help lift heavy case - When I said thanks for your help given I’ve been waiting over 20 mins in the cold and drizzle gone midnight, he shouted at me- you weren’t on time and we’re not charging you,” repeatedly. Scared me with his aggressiveness, so in dire need to just get home (pre paid Taxi) I asked him to just take me home. He said nothing else and on arrival I got out- he didn’t move from his seat and simply drove off. Booking confirms £5 charge for every 30 mins and as flight was late, I’d expected to be charged rather than shouted out particularly as he confirmed he’d checked the flight and knew it was late in the first call. Never ever use this firm again particularly a single female late at night at an airport where one is vulnerable and route home is limited. Have asked for his license details and complained direct to firm. Still awaiting response over 24 hours later. "

"I was not meeted at the arrivals area as told in message. The driver phoned me and told to come out of the airport by taxis. I was really disappointed because I was travelling alone with two little children and two suitcases (small, but anyway 10 kg each). When we met I should ask him for help because he turned round and start walking towards taxi without any consideration. There were no children seats in the car (I had requsted them in my booking). The next day was the same story. He meeted us sitting in the taxi and even did not help me with the luggage. Besides this, the taxi was very comfortable and the journey pleasant. If you could improve the service of the drivers, would be excellent. "

"I wanted to make a complaint straight after however I was extremely late for my flight and the journey really ruined the start of my holiday. I booked in advance as i needed a taxi for 4.30am in order to make my flight however the driver arrived at 4.50, I called the night earlier to confirm my booking as I knew it was a very early time as well as calling at 4.30 and 4.40 as the driver was already so late however he said it was road work however that is morning my fault, it is the taxi company’s responsibility to check road and traffic conditions especially when there is a prior booking that early in the morning. As well as that, at the start of our journey which should have taken less than 15 minutes to Luton airport, he went the wrong way and asked me for directions however as taxi drivers it is also their responsibility to know the directions. Additionally, whilst waiting in the airport drop off traffic, the driver fell asleep multiple times which was very alarming and i found dangerous especially with all the surrounding drivers beeping ( I have a photo to prove he was microsleeping ). I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfacted with the service as I pre booked to avoid being late and I was the last to board my flight almost missing it due to the driver’s inefficiency and lack of safety. I would like a full refund for this disappointing service. "

"We were delayed for just over an hour delayed and on arrival back to the UK we were told we would be charged £25 for being late. I've always got taxis back from the airport and they always check the live online updates, plus I emailed the taxi company to inform them of delay but did not get a reply. After much deliberation with both driver and company and checking the company policy the charge is in fact £15 (£5 for every 30 mins). We paid the charge although in all honesty I have no idea why a taxi firm offering airport services has no idea how to check flight updates. I would not recommend this company or use again. Especially as they tried to charge us £25 fee originally."

"The outward journey was okay although the driver had the wrong address so was a little late! However, the return trip was a disaster. The driver texted me to say he was waiting outside the airport - thought you weren't allowed to do that in any case. I was in Berlin, the taxi was for my 84 year old mother and her 86 year old friend. The 80 year olds didn't have their mobile phones with them and don't know how to do texts. They looked for the driver when they got through and couldn't see anyone holding up a sign with their name on. They hung about for a bit then got a cab from the rank. I finally saw the text and called the driver to explain the situation. He didn't seem to understand me and texted me later to ask if they'd left the airport!!!! Very disappointing."

Driver wasn't there to pick us up on our return leg of our journey and after eventually getting through to sort the issue, had to wait well over an hour to get on our way (the last thing we wanted after a long journey). Haven't had an apology yet, the staff I dealt with were very short with me, and I will be looking for some kind of compensation for our journey. Does not come across as a well run business. "

"Due to the hot weather, we booked an E-Class vehicle for both our outward and inbound journey to ensure the vehicle had climate control/air con. Unfortunately, a different vehicle arrived on both journeys. For our outward journey a 7-8 seater arrived with no aircon or climate control so not a good start. Our return vehicle was also not as expected. This was an Astra Estate which is a lower class of booking vehicle and we were left standing at the collection point as we were looking for a totally difference vehicle. We even called to give a description of what my husband was wearing so easily spotted but the driver had just been sitting in his vehicle with us no more than 10 years away for quite some time! One way you could say is unfortunate but both not. We paid over £100 for this service and it certainly did not deliver on our expectation. Our outward journey driver said that he would share back the error and assured us our return vehicle would be as expected... but no! I wrote to Ali Brothers upon my return and after much chasing, they come back and offered us a 50% refund which we agreed was fair (on condition we did not share any negative comments) however after 3 chaser emails and a call to the company, being assured this had been missed and would arrange to rectify the following day, and a confirmation email. We are still waiting! We have tried to be fair and give the company a chance to put this right and stand over their compensation offer, but as they have not held up their side of the arrangement, I feel I need to share our experience as now totally exhausted & angry by it all and extremely disappointed from this business. I would NEVER use again and certainly NOT recommend. "

With the fitted plastic safety barrier between passengers and driver there was also no 'through' air from the driver's window. The car was nice and the driver was on time and good at his job - a real pro. Coming home was a different story. The drop-off guy had told me where to wait for pick up - so I went there. No taxi. Called the office and got someone who said he was coming but was clearly not in a car. The guy arrived 1hr and 5mins after the arranged time. Worse, I had landed early so I had to wait 1hr 25mins. I had been asked for my flight number on booking but for no purpose it seems. The pick up driver did not apologise for the ridiculous delay and tried to blame it on traffic. Personally, I use free apps on my phone to tell me when to leave for a given arrival time. This 'professional' driver knew better and just wanted to rely on getting good traffic. However, the real reason he was sooooo late was that he left Luton an hour later than he should have done. Maybe he overslept. An apology would have been nice but instead he decided to insult my intelligence with a lame excuse. When he arrived he parked as far away as possible from the arranged pick up point, despite me having told him 3 times that morning exactly where I was. All the hard work done by the drop-off guy was destroyed by the incompetent, amateurish botch job of the pick up guy."

At 12.10 pm , we had a call from our driver saying he was late - he was due at 12 pm and was some 30 minutes away. He didn’t seem know how to get to Luton airport and also couldn’t get luggage in boot so had case across three of us in back - this is how all my previous executive taxi have been - not!!! We did make our flight but not the best way to start a holiday stressed at beginning. Thank goodness I haven’t booked you for return! I did send an email requesting refund - at the very least something for not sending what was booked - trade descriptions breached!!!! DO NOT USE amateur outfit, nothing executive about this service!"

"My understanding of 'meet and greet' is to be met inside the terminal at arrivals with a card with my name on. Instead we wandered around the airport for about 15 minutes trying to find out where the driver could be. No offer to help lift heavy case - When I said thanks for your help given I’ve been waiting over 20 mins in the cold and drizzle gone midnight, he shouted at me- you weren’t on time and we’re not charging you,” repeatedly. Scared me with his aggressiveness, so in dire need to just get home (pre paid Taxi) I asked him to just take me home. He said nothing else and on arrival I got out- he didn’t move from his seat and simply drove off. Booking confirms £5 charge for every 30 mins and as flight was late, I’d expected to be charged rather than shouted out particularly as he confirmed he’d checked the flight and knew it was late in the first call. Never ever use this firm again particularly a single female late at night at an airport where one is vulnerable and route home is limited. Have asked for his license details and complained direct to firm. Still awaiting response over 24 hours later. "

"I wanted to make a complaint straight after however I was extremely late for my flight and the journey really ruined the start of my holiday. I booked in advance as i needed a taxi for 4.30am in order to make my flight however the driver arrived at 4.50, I called the night earlier to confirm my booking as I knew it was a very early time as well as calling at 4.30 and 4.40 as the driver was already so late however he said it was road work however that is morning my fault, it is the taxi company’s responsibility to check road and traffic conditions especially when there is a prior booking that early in the morning. As well as that, at the start of our journey which should have taken less than 15 minutes to Luton airport, he went the wrong way and asked me for directions however as taxi drivers it is also their responsibility to know the directions. Additionally, whilst waiting in the airport drop off traffic, the driver fell asleep multiple times which was very alarming and i found dangerous especially with all the surrounding drivers beeping ( I have a photo to prove he was microsleeping ). I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfacted with the service as I pre booked to avoid being late and I was the last to board my flight almost missing it due to the driver’s inefficiency and lack of safety. I would like a full refund for this disappointing service. "

I've always got taxis back from the airport and they always check the live online updates, plus I emailed the taxi company to inform them of delay but did not get a reply. After much deliberation with both driver and company and checking the company policy the charge is in fact £15 (£5 for every 30 mins). We paid the charge although in all honesty I have no idea why a taxi firm offering airport services has no idea how to check flight updates. I would not recommend this company or use again.
